Here is the interview with Thomas Kloubert, Marketing Director at kfzteile24 – and have a look at the team and their office in Berlin.
Please introduce your company
kfzteile24, founded in 2001, is a Berlin-based multichannel retail company and market leader in the field of car spare parts and accessories.
Both amateurs and professionals will find a full range of car parts in the online shops kfzteile24.de and autoteile24.de.
In the greater Berlin area, customers are also served in three retail stores and repair garages with immediate service.
More than 10,000 parcels leave the central logistics location in Neuseddin every day.
Many suppliers and original equipment manufacturers in the automotive industry reward the high quality of service by supplying kfzteile24 directly.

kfzteile24 is one of the leading full-range online retailers for car spare parts and accessories in Germany.
In addition to our web shop, we run three retail stores with affiliated workshops in Berlin to supplement the online distribution.
The company was founded in 2001 and began selling car spare parts over eBay out of a garage. Thanks to unbeatable prices for the quality products within four years, the company was transformed into a limited liability company in 2005.
To date, kfzteile24 has three branches including workshops with direct acceptance in Berlin-Weißensee, Berlin-Spandau and Berlin-Mahlsdorf, received a star on the eBay Walk of Fame as the largest power seller in the eBay Motors segment, established the central warehouse from which more than 10,000 parcels are dispatched daily, relaunched its own online shop and moved to a new office.
How did you get to your business idea and when was your company established?

In which countries are you active? Are you planning to expand your venture in other countries? And if – where?
We are currently active in two countries. Since day one we focused on Germany but recently we opened a web shop for our customers in Austria.
Where do you see the company in 5 years?
We will continue focusing on our customers. Based on steady, customer centric improvement of our processes and services we want to grow continuously.
Our aim is to offer the broadest inventory of the online car spare parts industry.
Your Team
How many employees work at your company right now?
We currently have about 500 employees, and the number is growing. As we continue to grow, we are naturally always looking for competent, new co-workers who can support us and drive us forward as a company.
What is the average age of your team members?
The average age is approximately 33 years. In principle, however, everyone is welcome if he or she is professionally and personally suited to us.
What kind of attitude should new employers have in order to work at your company?
New team members should bring in ecommerce skills and should be able to focus on our customers.
We help our consumer and professional customers to find and buy the the right parts for their cars and ship them as fast as possible.
Teamwork between Marketing, BI, Category Management, IT, Logistics and customer care is essential to deliver customer excellence.
Why is it fun to work at your company? Do you offer any employee benefits?
It is fun to work with a variety of car and ecommerce enthusiasts on challenging topics.
We provide a series of benefits for our employees, including special discounts for car parts and services, of course.
Your Office
How big is your Office?
Since we moved into our new office we have 1,833m2 space on several floors.
Even if not everything has found its place after moving in and even more decoration is planned, we already feel very comfortable.
Communication between teams and colleagues has accelerated a lot and become much easier now.
Did you get help from an interior designer by designing the office?
Our office design was created by an internal/external team of designers, architects, photographers including our CEO.
