In November we visited MAIL.RU GROUP in Moscow. MAIL.RU GROUP is the biggest Russian internet company.
The MAIL.RU GROUP (listed at the London Stock Exchange) isn’t a startup anymore. MAIL.RU was founded as an email provider in 1998 and it grew up to a big internet and a venture capital company.
The MAIL.RU Group holds a lot of different companies like email services, social networks, online gaming, search & e-commerce.
To name a few within the Mail.RU Group: mail.ru,vk.com, my.com, icq, ok.ru.

When was your company founded, your location, in how many countries are you active?
Mail.Ru Group, international brand My.com (LSE:MAIL, listed since November 5, 2010) is a leader in the Russian-speaking Internet market.
The company holds the lead in Russian desktop and mobile spaces and its products reach approximately 94% of Russian Internet users on a monthly basis.
The company owns Russia’s leading email service and one of Russia’s largest Internet portals, Mail.Ru.
it operates the two largest social networks VK.com and Odnoklassniki.
The biggest offices are in Moscow (HQ), St Petersburg, Amsterdam, Mountain View, Tel Aviv, Riga.
Number of employees: over 3,500 (2016)
MAIL.RU GROUP owns 100% of mobile games developer Pixonic and 100% of Delivery Club, the number one food delivery company in Russia. Mail.Ru Group has the controlling interest in GeekBrains, the online learning platform for developers.

1,700 employees are working at the Headquarter of MAIL.RU GROUP
Did you get help from an interior designer by designing the office? And if who did you work together with?
We’ve been working closely with UNK project .
Office spaces were created with our employees’ wishes and needs in mind.
That’s why we have a full-fledged indoor volleyball court which can be transformed to a conference room (which seats up to 500 people) in less than in two hours, as well as our own gym and fitness center, office lounge and movie theater, dry cleaners, and so on.
All the equipment and even lighting system were chosen and tested by a group of employees from different departments of our company.
The project received an award of the European Property Awards 2014.
