Please tell us something about DOJO Madness. When was the company founded?
Founded in December 2014, DOJO Madness harnesses the power of big data to build tools and services that help players and fans to understand and master their favorite esports games.
Our office is located in Berlin, and our users are from all over the world.

Your Business
What is your core business?
DOJO’s first line of products, the SUMO apps, are virtual coaching apps for League of Legends, Overwatch,and Dota 2. LOLSUMO, OVERSUMO, and DOTASUMO provide personalized guides and actionable insights based on individualized game data for over one million monthly active users.
DOJO recently acquired coaching marketplace, Leaguecoaching.gg, adding a human coaching layer to their product offerings.
In addition, DOJO Madness launched Shadow.GG, a SaaS platform providing analytics & data visualizations for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, League of Legends, and Dota 2 professional teams, that dramatically improves how teams prepare for and analyze matches.
DOJO Madness also offers a B2B data service that provides high-quality solutions for live in-game betting in esports.
Are you using Venture Capital? And if so – who are your Venture Partners?
DOJO Madness has raised a total of $12.75M in funding from backers including The Raine Group, March Capital Partners, London Venture Partners, DN Capital, K Cube Ventures, Kristian Segerstrale and the Investment Bank of Berlin (IBB).
Are you planning to expand your venture in other countries? And if – where?
Yes, we are focused on expansion in Asia, starting with South Korea. Last month, we released LOLSUMO in Korean.
Your Team
How many employees work at your company right now? Are you planning to expand?
DOJO Madness has 50 employees, and we plan to reach 75 employees by end of year.
What is the average age of your team members ? What kind of attitude should new employees have to have in order to work at your company?
“Most of our employees are in their 20’s and 30’s and all have a passion for gaming and esports.”

Did you get help from an interior designer by designing the office? And if so – who did you work together with?
We did not get help from an interior designer for designing the office. Our Berlin office design was a team effort.
